BOSTON - It's a big day for Avery Bradley.

Not only did the Celtics shooting guard return from a sprained ankle that kept him out of action the last couple weeks, but his home team, the Seattle Seahawks, are playing in Super Bowl XLVIII.

Bradley made sure to represent his team after Sunday's 96-89 win over the Magic by sporting his Seahawks hat.

"I'm a big-time Seahawks fan," Bradley said. "Big time. Earl Thomas fan more than anything to be honest. We went to the same college. That's one of my good friends. Him and Kam Chancellor, those are my guys right there."

Thomas and Chancellor play the safety spots on the NFL's best defense this season. It's no surprise that Bradley - being a defensive-minded player on the court - would befriend the Seahawks secondary. He also said he'd be wearing his Thomas jersey during the game.

"I texted [Thomas] after they beat San Fran," Bradley said when asked if they keep in touch. I haven't talked to him since."

Of course, Bradley predicts a Seahawks win. But he does think it's going to be a good, close game.

And he predicts his friend Thomas will be very instrumental to that win.

"Just watch the game," Bradley said. "I guarantee you every play, every tackle that's made Earl will be in the area. I guarantee you."
