Kevin Garnett has missed the last two games for the Celtics with a strained adductor muscle and the flu, and according to Celtics GM Danny Ainge, there's no timetable for his return.

Ainge spoke on 98.5's The Felger and Mazz Show on Tuesday, and when asked about Garnett, didn't have any answers for his return, other than that the C's were going to err on the side of caution.

"I'm not sure. I really don't know," Ainge said. "Last night he was not only still a little bit sore, but he was sick, he had the flu. We're being extra careful with Kevin, we don't want him missing a short time turned into a long time. So we'll be very careful with him and just take it day by day. But I honestly don't know. I'm not even sure Kevin knows whether he'll play Wednesday or Friday or the next week."

The Celtics goal is to be as healthy as possible for the postseason, and having already lost Rajon Rondo, Jared Sullinger, and Leandro Barbosa for the season, you can bet they won't take any chances with Garnett.
