WILMINGTON -- Bruins coach Claude Julien said after Friday's practice that he expects forward Brad Marchand to play in Saturday's afternoon game against the Vancouver Canucks at the TD Garden.
Marchand missed Thursday night's game against the Calgary Flames with flu-like symptoms, and while he didn't practice with the rest of the team on Friday morning, he is expected to hit the ice on his own at some point during the day.
"He's feeling better today," said Julien. "We just kept him away from the team because we certainly don't want that to spread around. But he'll probably skate today, but on his own.
"Tomorrow, I don't see him being a question mark, but who knows. Right now, we anticipate him playing."
