The Bruins are making TD Garden a nightmarish place for their opponents this postseason.

The B's won their seventh straight home game with a 2-0 win over the Blackhawks in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals Monday night. They haven't lost a game at TD Garden since Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Maple Leafs.

The Bruins are now two wins away from their second title in the last three years, something that forward Shawn Thornton was clearly more aware of when he spoke to Mike Giardi on Postgame Live Monday night.

"I wasn't aware it was seven in-a-row," Thornton said. "You know what, we've had the same group of guys for the last six years, we enjoy playing here, we love our fans, we tend to feed off the energy, I think the guys did a good job not trying to put on a fancy show at home. We tried to make it a solid game and a solid effort all around. That was key."
