ST. LOUIS, MO To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Shawn Thornton is going to give it a go tonight.

Thornton missed Wednesday mornings skate at the Scottrade Center with flu-like symptoms, but he was taking his regular turn on the Bs Merlot Line during pre-game warm-ups. It also appears that rookie Carter Camper will get his first NHL start after getting recalled to the big leagues for the first time two days ago, and putting a few practices with his new teammates under his belt.

Tim Thomas was the first goaltender onto the ice for pre-game warm-ups and hell get the start opposite Brian Elliott in a battle of top-notch goaltenders. Thomas has played in seven of Bostons last eight games including the relief appearance in the Buffalo blowout loss two weeks ago.
