The Bruins appeared to be on their way to a 3-0 advantage heading into first intermission as the final minute of the period started to tick away.

But Brandon Sutter quickly swung the momentum in Pittsburgh's favor with a goal past Tuukka Rask top-shelf to cut the deficit to 3-1. However, the B's took it right back when Brad Marchand beat Marc-Andre Fleury glove-side high 25 seconds later for his second goal of the game to give the Bruins a 4-1 lead after the first period en route to a 6-1 win and a 2-0 series lead over the Penguins in the Eastern Conference Finals.

It turns out Marchand knew how he was going to score all along. Shawn Thornton said in his one-on-one with Mike Giardi after the game that Marchand told him on the bench just what he was going do if he was given the opportunity to score again.

It worked.

"[Marchand] with an unbelievable shot," Thornton said. "He actually called it on the bench…He told me on the bench where he wanted to go if he got one so he was unbelievable tonight. The whole line was great. [Jagr] was great, [Bergeron] is always great, he's such a consistent players for us. D, Tuukka, everyone. Everyone showed up, it was a good game."
