Thomas, Quick get nods

LOS ANGELES, CAThe Bruins are ready to erase the memories of the loss to the Sharks as they filed out for the pregame warm-up at the Staples Center for some Saturday night hockey with the Los Angeles Kings.

Tim Thomas will be making his 15th straight appearance as he was the first Bs goalie out onto the ice and Jonathan Quick is riding a five-game winning streak for the Los Angeles Kings. Rich Peverley took part in the warm-up as advertised, but will not play for the Bruins in Los Angeles. He still could be a possibility against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday, and it may depend on how the Black and Gold skaters look against a hungry, rolling Kings team. Here is the projected lineup with Zdeno Chara getting the well-deserved start in his 1,000th NHL game:

Lucic-Krejci-Caron
Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Rolston-Kelly-Pouliot
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Seidenberg
Ference-Boychuk
Zanon-McQuaid

Thomas
Turco
