The Bruins have seemingly been in command of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series against the New York Rangers, taking a 3-0 series lead with a 2-1 win at Madison Square Garden Tuesday night. But with a history of struggles closing out series in the Claude Julien era -- just look back to the first round against Toronto -- do the B's have enough to complete the sweep in Thursday's Game 4 at MSG?
Steve Buckley of the Boston Herald discussed this and other Bruins-related topics with Gary Tanguay and Andy Gresh on UNO Sports Tonight Wednesday evening, and believes the B's will finish off the series Thursday night.
"Yes, I do feel the sweep is coming mainly because I don't get a vibe here in New York, I didn't get a vibe from Madison Square Garden when I left the arena [Tuesday night] and the fact of the matter is the Bruins have thoroughly outplayed the Rangers in every aspect of the game...they've got a great goaltender [Henrik Lundqvist] but he's been not enough so far," Buckley said.
