You’d think never missing the playoffs in six years behind the bench, making the conference semi-finals four of those years and winning a cup to top it all off would dispel all questions of job security around Bruins head coach Claude Julien.
But that hasn’t been the case, with many wondering if Julien was on the hot seat as recently as the B’s most recent series with the Rangers, prior to when the Black-and-Gold disposed of the Blueshirts in five games.
So with the Bruins in the conference finals for the second time in three seasons, are people finally starting to come around on this guy? Boston Globe sports columnist Dan Shaughnessy thinks so.
“People say, ’44 wins, best ever, you know, we kind of like this guy’”, said Shaughnessy on UNO Sports Tonight.
