The Bruins should get their full player group back for Friday afternoon’s tilt against the New York Rangers with Dennis Seidenberg “looking good” to return for the Thanksgiving Showdown at TD Garden. The German defenseman has been a full participant in the last two Bruins practices, and Bruins coach Claude Julien said he’ll also be in the pregame warm-up prior to Friday’s nationally televised matinee. He suffered a lower body injury back on Nov. 19 in a win over the Blueshirts, and started making real progress toward the end of last week.

The return of the rock-solid Seidenberg should help a team that allowed a season-high six goals to the Red Wings on Wednesday night.

“He’s going to do the warm-up and we’ll probably make that decision . . . but it looks good right now,” said Julien. “[As a team], we want to erase the Detroit loss with a strong showing today. If we can do that then it gets back on the right track here today.”

The return of Seidenberg should certainly do plenty to help get the Black and Gold back on track.
