WILMINGTON – After missing Thursday night’s game against the St. Louis Blues with a lower body injury, defenseman Dennis Seidenberg was the only player missing from the Friday morning practice ice at Ristuccia Arena.

Amazingly the Bruins were able to withstand the absence of the rock solid defenseman, and played a quality defensive against a talented St. Louis Blues bunch, and will need to continue to as head coach Claude Julien estimated he’d be out of commission for at least a week. Seidenberg was spotted gingerly walking around the Bruins dressing room after Thursday’s morning, but was in very good spirits while talking about his picture on the Bruins’ MSPCA calendar with his dogs, Wiggles and Bubbles Lollipop.

Otherwise, the line combinations and defensemen pairings remain very much the same with the top six forward group staying together as some voices begin to call for things to be shaken up. Clearly the Bruins aren’t at that point, and not sure they really need to be after putting in an excellent, consistent 65 minutes against the Blues in a shootout defeat.

Here are the line combinations and defensemen pairings based on Friday morning practice:
