BOSTON – It’s business as usual for the Bruins at TD Garden as they resume practice and get ready for Game 1 against the Blackhawks on Wednesday night. There are also some travel plans in the works.
The Bruins will be at the United Center in Chicago for their media day responsibilities on Tuesday afternoon, there may also be a "good luck” sendoff in Boston just as there was two years ago when the Bruins hopped on a bus and left the Garden headed for Vancouver for the Stanley Cup Finals. That drew thousands of people and hinted at the mammoth celebration that awaited once they had brought the Cup back to Boston.
But that’s a story for another day.
On Monday the Bruins were on the ice preparing for the Blackhawks with the same forward lines and D-pairings that they ended with in the conference finals. Every player was on the ice except for Gregory Campbell, who is not expected to be seen again on the frozen sheet until next year after suffering a broken right leg in Game 3.
