With the addition of forwards Jarome Iginla and Loui Eriksson, it didn't seem likely that the Bruins would bring back Jaromir Jagr.
But one team that could use the 41-year-old is the New Jersey Devils. And according to a report by Czech broadcaster Roman Jedlicka on Twitter, it's looking very likely that will happen.
99 percent Jagr is gonna sign with #NJDevils. Good source.— Roman Jedlicka (@jedli) July 20, 2013
The Devils were likely looking for a veteran forward like Jagr after Illya Kovalchuk left three years into his massive 15-year, $100 million contract to play in the KHL.
Jagr played a total of 33 games for the Bruins last season -- 11 in the regular season, 22 in the playoffs. He had nine point on two goals and seven assists in the regular season, while finishing the playoffs with 10 points, all on assists.
