A picture of the Bruins logo roped off on the team’s dressing room floor went viral on Saturday, the same day Justin Bieber was performing at the TD Garden.

A picture of Bieber standing on the Chicago Blackhawks logo -- a no-no in NHL dressing rooms -- surfaced last month so it seemed like the B’s were taking no chances.

Or at least that was what we thought, as it has been learned that Bruins brass never roped off the logo on Saturday.

The picture -- which showed a Bruins fan posing for a photo beside the roped-off logo -- was actually posted on Twitter in November 2012. The fan was cropped out, showing just the logo surrounded by the protective rope, which then made the rounds online Saturday afternoon.

Bruins PR rep Matthew Chmura tweeted that the picture was not taken this weekend because there was no one who gained admittance into the dressing room.

So, obviously, the Bruins took notes from the team that kept them from winning their second Stanley Cup in three years. They didn’t just rope off the logo to keep Bieber from stepping on it. They put locks on the dressing room door to keep him from getting close to it.
