NEWARK, N.J. – The Bruins will have a new face in the lineup for Tuesday night’s game against the New Jersey Devils as Corey Potter will make his debut for the Black and Gold.

Potter skated with Zdeno Chara on the top defenseman pair during pregame warm-ups at the Prudential Center, and Matt Bartkowski will be the healthy scratch after a tough game against the Minnesota Wild on Monday night. Potter was picked up on waivers from the Edmonton Oilers on NHL trade deadline day, but had yet to appear in a game with a crowded B’s defensemen picture.

Otherwise it's the same lineup with Johnny Boychuk out for the second straight game after his feet-first crash into the end boards.

Chad Johnson will get the nod for the Bruins while building on a 14-3-1 season that’s seen him put up a 2.15 goals against average and .921 save percentage as Boston’s backup netminder. He’ll be opposed by New Jersey Devils future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur, who has a 17-12-4 record with a 2.50 goals against average and .901 save percentage in his NHL swan song. Here are the line combos and D-pairings based on the pregame warm-up:
