The Bruins announced Friday that forward Rich Peverley will four to six weeks of action because of a third degree MCL sprain in his right knee. He suffered the sprain during Boston's 4-3 shootout win over the Canadiens on February 15. During the third period, he had given up the puck near the team's blue line and moved to skate up ice when Montreal defenseman Hal Gill nailed him with a knee.

Gill received no penalty for the hit or supplemental discipline from the league.

It doesnt matter whether I like it or dont like it," head coach Claude Julien had said in the post-game. "I dont make the decisions. Im done with commenting on the stuff because its not worth it.
