BOSTON -- The Bruins have all of their new pieces in place following the trade deadline, and theyll get to start showing them off immediately. New faces Mike Mottau and Brian Rolston took part in Bruins morning skate this morning at TD Garden before facing the Ottawa Senators tonight, but Greg Zanon missed the morning session as he was traveling in from Minnesota.

Zanon was in the building by the end of Tuesdays skate, but Claude Julien said the 31-year-old defenseman wont play until he skates in a practice with the team. So Zanon will be out against the Sens, and that means Mottau should be in vs. Ottawa in a move that should thrill the Avon, Mass. natives friends and family.

Were really happy. We talked about having some depth, and the depth we got was having experienced players, said Claude Julien. Saying theyre depth doesnt mean that they dont belong in our lineup.

Weve run into some injuries lately and its been a challenge to keep our lineup going in the right direction. Now theres some breathing room as far as putting guys in that have been around for a while.

Tim Thomas was the first goaltender off the ice and should be in net given his victory over the Sens on Saturday night at Scotiabank Place, and his dominant career numbers against Ottawa.

Here is the projected lineup for tonights game with Shawn Thornton also expected to play per the words of Claude Julien:

Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Lucic-Kelly-Krejci
Pouliot-Rolston-Caron
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Ference
Seidenberg-Corvo
Mottau-McQuaid
