Daniel Paille returned to practice from post-concussion symptoms just prior to the three-day holiday break, and now the fourth line left winger returns to the lineup Friday night against the Ottawa Senators. Paille was skating on the fourth line with Gregory Campbell and Jordan Caron during Friday morning skate at TD Garden, and officially missed seven games after leaving the B’s midway through their Western Canada road trip with the concussion symptoms.

Dougie Hamilton skated on the TD Garden ice prior to morning skate and continues to make progress in his recovery from a leg injury, and Shawn Thornton once again skated with teammates while serving out his 15-game suspension. Tuukka Rask is getting the starting nod for the B's, and it appears Robin Lehner will man the pipes for the Sens given his excellent stats (2.11 GAA and .943 save percentage) vs. the Bruins.
