* You might have already seen this, but a great video of Weymouth hockey product Charlie Coyle turning a Minnesota kid into an NHL fan for the rest of his life.

* Scott Hartnell has released a children’s book? Considering he looks like one of the characters from “Where the Wild Things Are”, perhaps that is appropriate.

* Don Cherry lends his opinions to the Shawn Thornton incident, and he clearly thinks a 15-game suspension was too much.

* Good piece by Bruce Arthur on the battle between Boston and Vancouver that will probably never end.

* Mike Halford from PHT chronicles Flyers owner Ed Snider hinting that a change is in the works after the Flyers blow another lead.

* The Red Wings have lost five in a row with the HBO cameras following them around. That should make for some riveting moments with Mike Babcock.

* A Christmas spectacular “Bear and the Gang” is guaranteed to make you laugh, whether or not you’re a Bruins fan.

* For something completely different: This Billy Baker story was making the rounds yesterday on twitter, and is well worth your time chronicling two very special Boston kids.
