* Larry Brooks has a column on Martin Brodeur that made me sad. It looks like the New Jersey Devils goaltender is at the very end of the road, though it appears nobody in Jersey is going to tell him so.
* Ryan Kesler and the Sedin Twins have turned into something called “Beastmodo” for the Vancouver Canucks.
* Devan Dubnyk gets his first win for the Edmonton Oilers, and hopefully gets them on track after a horrendous start to the season.
* Bruce Garrioch has what some people call “the best Sunday Notes in the business”, and this week he chronicles a fire sale of veteran players in Florida being mandated by new ownership.
* A detailed picture painted by FOH (Friend of Haggs) John Vogl about the Mikhail Grigorenko situation in Buffalo, where the Russian youngster seems to be stuck in a spot where he can’t develop his game.
* Interesting piece about how much the perceived good hands on a player is actually something that starts and ends with the head.
* For something completely different: Wayne Gretzky talks about what Peyton Manning will be feeling tonight headed back to Indianapolis.
