* Patrice Bergeron chimes in with his diary, where he reveals that he’s a giant Billy Madison fan. I knew there was a reason I liked Bergeron so much.
* Good piece from CBC hockey columnist Tim Wharnsby, who went through the video to detail the Game 7 Bruins comeback over the Leafs last spring. He came away with the same final analysis: The Bruins physically dominated a team that fell apart in the final few minutes of the game.

* Pat Kane heaps plenty of praise on former Switzerland buddy Tyler Seguin as the two readied to play each other this weekend.

* Steve Simmons has assorted ideas and bits in his column, including a takedown of the Miami Dolphins for the Richie Incognito debacle.

* Don Cherry with some interesting analysis during last night’s Coach’s Corner saying that the Maple Leafs “are throwing [James Reimer] to the wolves” by playing him against the Bruins last night. Wouldn’t it be throwing him to the bears, anyway?
* Interesting doings in Winnipeg where guys like Dustin Byfuglien and Evander Kane don’t seem to be too concerned with the state of their team’s affairs, and Byfuglien is still looking for his first goal.

* For something completely different: RIP to Blockbuster Video, which reaped untold amounts of money from me for late videos. So I won’t be crying over their demise.
