  • From the Pittsburgh end of things, it sounds like the Penguins are trying not to panic after trailing in a playoff series for the first time.
  • Tim Thomas may return to Europe or the NHL next season. Interesting report because I think it’s already been confirmed that the New York Islanders won’t be tolling the contract of Tim Thomas, and I’ve also heard that the 39-year-old goaltender has fallen far out of shape. I’d want to take a look at him before forking over a couple of million dollars for a guy that hasn’t played in over a year.
  • Interesting piece detailing something I hadn’t even really thought about: Seth Jones would be the first African-American hockey player to be drafted No. 1 overall by an NHL team.
  • Mike Milbury isn’t so sure about the Stanley Cup worthiness of Tomas Vokoun, and neither am I to tell you the truth.
