*Stanley Cup Finals ticket prices are going through the roof in both cities, but they’ve really hit a ridiculously crazy high in Boston.

*Gary Bettman paints a rosy lockout picture in his state of the union address for the NHL during the Stanley Cup Finals.

*Justin Bourne with 10 takeaways from Game 1 of the Bruins/Blackhawks Stanley Cup Finals: some of this stuff is interesting, and some of it is a little far-reaching.

*This guy’s DVR died right before the end of the game despite recording another two hours after last night’s Game 1 was supposed to end. That is just a tough break.

*The Maple Leafs know that their logic is flawed if they believe they could have made to the Cup Finals after getting past the Bruins.

*Jason Brough of Pro Hockey Talk says the Pittsburgh Penguins are making all of the right decisions with Evgeni Malkin by signing him to a sensible long term deal.

*If it’s June then that means Marian Hossa must be playing in another Stanley Cup Finals, as he’s done four of the last six years.
