WILMINGTON – The Bruins returned to work after a sloppy, sleepy win over the Florida Panthers, and it was a full roster of healthy B’s skaters on the ice at Ristuccia Arena. That means Adam McQuaid was back on the ice with his teammates after missing Thursday night’s game with a “minor issue”, and all of the lines and D-pairings were exactly the same as they’ve been the last couple of games.
Boston ended the practice with three-on-three battle drills in one corner of the ice normally designed to ratchet up the intensity and spark a little energy in the players on the ice. Those were a couple of things that seemed to be lacking against an injury riddled Florida team that’s in the Eastern Conference basement this season.
It was obviously well short of a punitive bag skate, but it was a good, intense 45 minutes of practice with games on both ends of the practice day.
