You can't say Boston Mayor Marty Walsh isn't a man of his word.
Prior to the Bruins - Canadiens series, Mayor Walsh and Montreal Mayor Dennis Coderre made a bet that the loser of the Bruins-Canadiens series would fly their rival's flag at the loser's city hall.
Well, you already know how the Bruins-Habs series ended - in a Game 7 loss for the Bruins.
That means the Canadiens flag flew at Boston's City Hall on Wednesday, and will remain there all week.
Mayor Walsh tweeted: As promised, Maire @DenisCoderre, the Habs flag is up at #Boston City Hall #NHL. pic.twitter.com/Ax6QnpWOi7
Juuuust a bit smaller than the other flags - as it should be!
