BOSTON -- The Bruins tasted success against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday when they made some midgame changes, and it looks like Claude Julien is going to stick with those alterations. That means Brad Marchand has been dropped to the third line with Chris Kelly and Jordan Caron, and Reilly Smith will be riding the left wing with Patrice Bergeron and Loui Eriksson after that combination sparked an offensive surge in the third period Saturday afternoon.

The Bruins will also insert Dougie Hamilton back into the lineup after getting Matt Bartkowski into a game over the weekend, and could go with choices based on matchups more often than they did in the past.

Tuukka Rask will get the call for the fifth time in five games between the pipes for Boston, and he’ll be facing a rested Jonas Gustavsson along with a Red Wings crew that should have a little more jump than they did in their first meeting of the season.

Rask has allowed just one goal in each of his first four games while posting a sparkling .965 save percentage during that time period.

Here are the line combos and D-pairings based on the pregame warm-up:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla
Smith-Bergeron-Eriksson
Marchand-Kelly-Caron
Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Boychuk
Seidenberg-Hamilton
Krug-McQuaid
