Boston Bruins coach Claude Julien and Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma are highly-successful bench bosses, both with a Stanley Cup on their resume and have each taken their current, respective franchises to the postseason every season they’ve been the bench.
But which coach is the preferred man for the dressing room? Tony Amonte says its Julien.
“[Julien] is a great coach,” said Amonte. “He’s a player’s coach, that’s why the players are always going to stick up for him.”
