MONTREAL – The Bruins looked loose and relaxed going through Thursday morning skate at the Bell Centre as the Canadiens got a few extra Z’s after returning from a shootout win over the Devils in New Jersey on Wednesday night. Torey Krug was skating in his regular spot among the B’s defensemen, and it appears that he’ll be in the lineup against the Bleu, Blanc and Rouge after missing a couple of practice days at the beginning of this week with an undisclosed booboo.

“I think he looked pretty good this morning, so I’d be extremely surprised if he doesn’t play,” said Julien, following morning skate.

Tuukka Rask was the first goaltender off the ice for the Black and Gold, so it should be a matchup between Rask and Carey Price after Peter Budaj got the start for the Habs in Newark vs. the Devils. Otherwise it was a group of Bruins players ready for a little hate-fest for first place with the Habs just a point behind Boston in the Atlantic Division standings.

“It always seems to be one of those big games [against Montreal],” said Milan Lucic. “And it is again tonight.”

Amazingly enough it’s the fifth straight regular season game between the Bruins and Canadiens that will have first place in the division up for grabs. Here are the line combinations and D-pairings for tonight’s game vs. the Habs based on morning skate at the Bell Centre:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla

Marchand-Bergeron-Eriksson

Soderberg-Kelly-Smith

Paille-Campbell-Thornton
