KANATA, ON – It appears that David Krejci will be back in the Bruins lineup, and will have missed one game after taking a 100-mph slap shot directly off the right knee.
Krejci took all of the line rushes centering Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton during pregame warm-up at Scotiabank Place while Ryan Spooner split time centering the third line with Rich Peverley in line rushes. Krejci said on Thursday morning that he’d woken up the day prior in Ottawa with the knee feeling much better after a couple of “awful” days.
Anton Khudobin led the Bruins onto the ice for the skate, and will be getting the start against the Ottawa Senators.
Khudobin is 5-2 with a 2.30 goals against average and .920 save percentage for the Bruins, and enjoyed arguably his best NHL against the Senators at Scotiabank Place last season while making 44 saves in a 2-1 win for Boston. He’ll be opposed by Robin Lehner, who has yet to lose a game in regulation this season for the Senators.
Rich Peverley is also a healthy scratch, in favor of Ryan Spooner. The scratch marks the first of Peverley's career.
Here are the line combos and ‘D’ pairings according to the warm-up:
