Johnson, Thomas in net as Bruins face Panthers

BOSTON – As expected both Adam McQuaid (leg) and Loui Eriksson (minor issue) are missing from the ice for pregame skate, and will be out of the lineup against the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night. Otherwise the full lineup is out for the Bruins with backup netminder Chad Johnson as the Bruins prepare to do battle with a Panthers team scraping at the bottom of the barrel in the Atlantic Division.

Jordan Caron was skating in Eriksson’s spot on the right wing alongside Carl Soderberg and Chris Kelly, and will play for only the fourth time since the calendar turned over to the year 2014. Tim Thomas will get the start for the Florida Panthers in what might be one of his last games with the team as Roberto Luongo makes his way to Florida to become their new/old franchise goaltender.

The only other notable action from pregame skate was Milan Lucic belting Matt Bartkowski with an accidental hit while the team was going through its line rushes at TD Garden. Here are the line combos and D-pairings based on the pregame skate:
