Jaromir Jagr played an important role on the Bruins in their run to the Stanley Cup Finals, but it seems that the team will go in the direction of younger talent for the winger spots.

WILMINGTON – The Bruins were back at it after their victory Thursday over the Tampa Bay Lightning. They put together a brisk, business-like practice session at Ristuccia Arena prior to the final weekend of the regular season. Jaromir Jagr and Matt Bartkowski -- who will be in the lineup for the Providence Bruins on Friday when they open their playoff series -- were not on the ice for the Bruins, and Nathan Horton skated on his own again prior to regular practice.

The 41-year-old Jagr took a couple of hard hits Thursday night, but it’s likely that his absence is a maintenance day for a player who doesn’t want to miss any games.

Here are the line combos and D-pairings based on practice:

Lucic-Krejci-Peverley

Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin

Soderberg-Kelly-Daugavins

Paille-Campbell-Thornton

Chara-Seidenberg

Ference-Boychuk

Redden-McQuaid
