The Bruins may have lost more than a game Wednesday night.
Nathan Horton, one of their most valuable postseason performers, appeared to injure his wrist during a power play in the first overtime period. He skated to the bench in obvious pain, went to the locker room, and didn't return for either the second or third overtime.
The Bruins gave no word on his condition afterwards.
"There's nothing to say," said coach Claude Julien, "because our doctors haven't finalized the evaluation properly."
If Horton is sidelined, the B's will have big shoes to fill.
“It sucks,” said Milan Lucic. “Everyone knows how big of a player he is for us, especially in the playoffs. He’s also shown that he can score big goals at big times.”
