WILMINGTON -- There were plenty of Bruins missing from today’s optional skate after back-to-back games over the weekend. Some just needed rest, but a few have been banged up while Boston is in a stretch of playing six games in nine days.

Nathan Horton (upper body) was missing from the ice after not playing Sunday with an injured hand/wrist from a fight on Saturday afternoon against Jarome Iginla. Zdeno Chara was also among the missing after tweaking his right leg in a third-period collision with Jonathan Huberbeau in Sunday’s win over the Panthers.

The entire Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand and Tyler Seguin line was also missing from the practice ice on Monday morning after carrying the bulk of the offense over the weekend.

It looks like it will be a quick session for the Black and Gold at Ristuccia Arena, and it’s finishing up with some battle drills at one end of the ice.

Here are the line combos and defense pairings from Monday’s practice session:

Lucic-Krejci-Peverley
Jagr-Soderberg
Paille-Campbell-Thornton
Daugavins-Pandolfo

Boychuk-Ference
McQuaid-Johnson

Rask
Khudobin
