WILMINGTON – The Bruins look a whole lot healthier after getting two rare off-days back-to-back in the middle of the season, and have both Chris Kelly and Dougie Hamilton back practicing with the team for the first time since suffering their respective injuries. Hamilton missed the last four games after suffering a “mild concussion” in the Jan. 11 win over the San Jose Sharks, but ran through the paces with the Black and Gold at practice.

Kelly had been skating on his own for more than a week, but hadn’t practiced with the Bruins since a Pascal Dupuis slash that fractured his right ankle in the Dec. 7 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The injury has kept Kelly out of the lineup for 20 games and counting, but his return is likely to be sooner rather than later now that he’s practicing without many restrictions.

Here are the forward combos and D-pairings based on the Thursday practice:

Lucic-Krejci-Iginla

Marchand-Bergeron-Smith

Soderberg-Spooner/Kelly-Eriksson

Paille-Thornton-Thornton/Caron

Chara-Boychuk

Bartkowski-Miller/Hamilton

Krug-Trotman
