*FOH (Friend of Haggs) Joe Yerdon has old friend Nathan Horton happy to have a healthy summer to prep for next season after shoulder surgery really hampered him last season in Columbus.

*Ben Bishop signs a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning that makes him the No. 1 guy in Tampa Bay, and is now being paid like it.

*The Flames Nation blog looks at how the Calgary goaltending group has improved with the addition of Jonas Hiller.

*Assistant general manager Don Sweeney talks Boston Bruins prospects in great depth. The interview is from earlier in the spring, but allows a window in the organization’s thinking about their young assets.

*The New Jersey Devils are entering the new age of hockey after hiring a front office member in charge of analytics, and “fancy stats.”

*It’s a not a major surprise, but Bruins draft pick Anders Bjork has signed his letter of intent to Notre Dame. Bjork is a legacy given that his dad and cousin Erik Condra both played hockey for the Fighting Irish as well.
