*An interesting look at how much P.K. Subban is worth as he approaches the end of his contract with the Montreal Canadiens at the close of this season, and will be looking for a hefty raise.

*Daniel Paille got to meet Elton John earlier this week, and the word on the street is that Mr. Reginald Dwight is actually a little bit of hockey fan that knew about the recent exploits of the Boston Bruins.

*John Scott has told reporters that he’s a changed man, and that he isn’t a meathead as many have made him out to be. Sure he is.

*Mike Halford of Pro Hockey Talk has the details of Florida Panthers GM Dale Tallon staying aggressive with his team after dealing one of his tradable assets in Kris Versteeg on Thursday night.

*A former Pittsburgh Penguins player shares the harrowing details of his hip problems following his playing career.

*For something completely different: it seems only fitting that Stevie Nicks will play herself on American Horror Story: Coven.
