*Three Periods with Nick Cotsonika as he takes a spin through Nashville with the “pretty incredible” Seth Jones as a rookie for the Predators.

*HBO’s 24/7 focusing on the Red Wings and Maple Leafs’ journey to the Winter Classic will start on Dec. 14, and those North of the Border will be protected from the F-bombs flying everywhere.

*Full credit to “Habs Eyes on the Prize” for perhaps the biggest waste of time masquerading as a humorous blog post with this faux John Tortorella press conference in Vancouver.

*A tale of three coaches that have attempted to mold Bobby Ryan throughout an interesting career that now sees him in Buffalo ready to explode on the Canadian hockey scene.

*Ryan Lambert lays the smack down on the Buffalo Sabres in an accurate piece. One thing I would take issue with: that what Buffalo has turned into is a direction causation of Milan Lucic running Ryan Miller. By that logic the same thing should have happened in Montreal after the Zdeno Chara/Max Pacioretty incident, but that never happened with the Habs.

*The bloggers in Dallas are upset that Loui Eriksson was targeted by Buffalo goon John Scott.

*For something completely different: some drama is brewing with the screenwriters for the new Star Wars movie.
