The Bruins find themselves on the brink of elimination after a 3-1 loss to the Blackhawks in Game 5.

"This was a gritty, nasty, just filthy Stanley Cup game, the kind where you roll up your sleeves and you really get to work," said CSNNE Insider Joe Haggerty. "You've got to give credit to the Blackhawks because they showed a lot of toughness in winning this one."

But perhaps even worse than losing the game, was losing Patrice Bergeron, who exited the building in ambulance after suffering an injury in the second period.

It was also interesting to note that the Bruins split up the pairing of Dennis Seidenberg and Zdeno Chara to start the third period.

"They haven't been good together for a couple games and it's really more Seidenberg than Chara," said Haggerty.
