Dave Goucher and Kirk Minihane are on Sports Tonight talking about the Rangers' style of playoff hockey and what it means for the Bruins.
"It's a slow, plodding type of game," said Minihane, who felt like something wasn't quite right in the early part of Game 1.
"It felt like a January game until Chara scored," said Minihane.
He observed a different type of atmosphere in which the fans, players, even the announcers all seemed a little out of it.
Part of that may have been the Rangers' pace of play, in which they grind the game to a halt and dive all over the ice trying to block shots.
"That's Tortorella's mantra: If you're not blocking shots you're not gonna play," said Goucher.
