The Bruins were handed a heartbreaking defeat in triple overtime at the hands of the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Wednesday. The number of chances the Bruins had to finish the game in each of the three overtimes makes the loss all the more frustrating.
Scoring chances came early and often for the Bruins once the game rolled along into its fourth period. Tyler Seguin, David Krejci, Nathan Horton and Kaspars Daugavins all had chances to win the game but couldn't get it done.
On Thursday's edition of Felger and Mazz on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Michael Felger went down the list of scoring chances the Bruins had and emphasized what a missed opportunity the Finals opener was for the B's.
