The Bruins appear to be in command of the Eastern Conference Finals after taking a 2-0 series lead with a 6-1 win over the Penguins.
The series returns to TD Garden for Game 3 Wednesday night, and it seems to be Boston's to lose at this point.
These are the same Penguins that were arguably the best team in hockey all season long, however, and the star power is still there. With the likes of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in the lineup with the potential to break through at some point, this series could be far from over.
Bob Beers made this case on UNO Sports Tonight Monday night as well as some other Bruins-related topics.
"If you relax against the Penguins, they'll make you pay," Beers said. "They have not had a lead yet in this series so we'll see what happens if they do have a lead. The Bruins did not relax [Monday]. They were relentless, especially on the back-check. They took away the will for Pittsburgh because they were always in their face, always somebody there, and they were always supporting everywhere on the ice.
"There were a couple chances, they're going to get opportunities, but you wanna limit them and you want to continue to be in their face at all times."
