WILMINGTON -– Claude Julien said that the “audition” process has begun for the playoff roster prior to Wednesday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres, and there was further evidence of that at Thursday’s practice at Ristuccia Arena. After posting zero shots and zero hits in 11 minutes on the fourth line skating in the emotional shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres last night, Bruins power forward was wearing a green “fifth line” practice jersey with Kaspars Daugavins and Jay Pandolfo.

The other lines have been tweaked as well, but it appears that Lucic might end up being a healthy scratch against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday if things continue as they did at today’s practice. With No. 17 already taken off the power play over the last couple of games, a healthy scratch would be the next logical step for a player that averaged 28 goals per season over the last two years and is set to be the team’s highest paid forward next year.

Here are the line combos and D-pairings from practice:

Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Paille-Krejci-Horton
Soderberg-Kelly-Jagr
Peverley-Campbell-Thornton
Lucic-Daugavins-Pandolfo

Chara-Hamilton
Seidenberg-Boychuk
Bartkowski-McQuaid
Ference-Johnson
