ROCKLAND, Ontario Its looking more and more like Zdeno Chara might be back in the lineup when the top two teams in the East do battle in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon.
Chara was a full participant in Bruins practice Friday morning at the Canadian International Hockey Academy, a co-ed hockey institution geared to elite hockey athletes from around the world from grades 9-12 about one half-hour outside the city of Ottawa.
Chara took a normal part in full team practice, didnt seem hesitant at all in contact drills with his teammates and looked just a tad careful when taking turns on the left knee. But otherwise the Bs captain looked spry and joined a full compliment of his teammates on the ice.
Thats the most encouraging sign yet that Chara may be ready to suit up again after missing only two games with a knee injury, and could be a part of Saturday afternoons marquee match between the Bruins and Flyers.
