There'll be hockey again at Fenway Park this winter, with Hockey East holding a pair of doubleheaders as part of a 12-day event that will include additional college and high school games and a free public-skating day for Boston residents.
Frozen Fenway 2017 will be held between Jan. 4-16. The Hockey East games will be played on back-to-back Saturdays, Jan. 7 and Jan. 14:
Boston University vs. Massachusetts
Boston College vs. Providence College
Saturday, January 14, 2017:
Maine vs. Connecticut
New Hampshire vs. Northeastern
“Outdoor hockey is quickly becoming a staple on Boston’s winter sports calendar and we look forward to joining with Hockey East and the City of Boston to build on that tradition by bringing some of the most accomplished and talented collegiate teams in the country to compete on the ice at Fenway Park,” said Boston Red Sox president Sam Kennedy.
After the Red Sox lose two out of three to Tampa Bay, Tony Massarotti is ready for the team to be slapped in face with a major change.
