UNIONDALE, NYThe Bruins didnt look especially smooth or graceful about it, but they came away with the necessary two points on a forgettable Saturday afternoon on Long Island.
After a lackluster first two periods Tyler Seguin turned on the jets in the opening minutes of the third period and fed Brad Marchand for his 27th goal of the season, and the Bruins took home a 6-3 victory over the Bruins at Nassau Coliseum.
Seguin added his 27th goal of the season on a bullet from the outside of the left face-off circle to give Boston a little insurance, and then Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci scored in the final four minutes to cave New Yorks roof in.

The Bruins knew prior to the matinee that theyd clinched a playoff berth after Buffalos loss to Pittsburgh, but they still had a chance to clinch the Northeast Division.
They did their part by taking the Isles in regulation, but theyll have to wait for another day as Ottawa pushed Philly into overtime. Ottawas next loss will give the Black and Gold the divisional title for the second year in a row.
David Krejci and Chris Kelly supplied goals in the first and second periods respectively for the Bruins, and Kellys strike was his career-best 20th goal of the season. It was a pure hustle play by Kelly as he intercepted an Isles bank pass while speeding into the offensive zone and then winged a shot over Al Montoyas glove hand.
Kyle Okposo and P.A. Parenteau matched Boston with goals of their own in the first and second periods, but Marty Turco and the Bs defense shut things down in the final 20 minutes. Turco stopped 19 shots for his second straight win in the neon golden goalie pads.
