The Bruins are pretty stocked on the defensive side of things, and they're making sure to keep their depth.

The team announced on Thursday that they've signed defenseman David Warsofsky to a one-year, two-way contract worth $600,000.

Warsofsky appeared in six games for Boston during the 2013-14 season, finishing with one goal and one assist.

He skated in 56 regular season games for Providence last year, registering six goals and 26 assists (fourth on the team) for 32 points with a plus-8 rating.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Warsofsky also skated in 12 games during the Providence Bruins playoff campaign, registering two goals and seven assists (second on the team) for nine points (fourth on the team).
