With the 24th pick in the first round of the NHL draft, the Bruins select Belleville Bulls netminder Malcolm Subban.

Subban was 25-14-0 with a 2.50 GAA and .923 save percentage for Belleville in 2011-12.

As if the Bruins-Canadiens rivalry needed another log on the fire, Malcolm Subban is the younger brother of Canadiens defenseman, PK Subban. That should make for some fun family dinners.

Tonight marks the 1st time Boston selected 24th in the NHL Entry Draft. B's did pick at No. 24 when it was the "NHL Amateur Draft" in 1968.
