Niklas Svedberg may finally make his NHL debut.
The Providence Bruins goaltender was recalled by the Boston Bruins on Thursday, and could play Thursday night against the Predators.
Svedberg has appeared in 22 games for the Providence Bruins this season, racking up an 13-5-3 record with a 2.87 goals against average, .909 save percentage and one shutout.
The 24-year-old has played in 70 games for the P-Bruins since joining the team in 2012, earning a career 50-13-5 AHL record.
It's the second time Svedberg has been called up by the Bruins this season, although he did not play the first time.
