The Bruins haven’t officially released their preseason schedule, but a number of other NHL teams have already announced their fall schedules that include dates with the Black and Gold. In addition the Bruins will be traveling to Florida in the first week of September for rookie training camp where they’ll be playing in a tournament with a group of other NHL team’s rookie players.
From the sound of things it will be a busy Fall for the Bruins after last season’s NHL training camp was completely wiped out by the lockout. The Bruins will include their annual trek up to Montreal for a game at the Bell Centre, and will also be undergoing their usual road trip to a remote Canadian destination as they’ll play the Winnipeg Jets on back-to-back nights with games in Winnipeg and Saskatoon.
Home-and-road tilts against the Washington Capitals and Detroit Red Wings round out the “known” portion of the Bruins preseason schedule, though there is likely to be at least one or two more dates to be held at TD Garden that haven’t yet been announced.
Here are the confirmed preseason dates for Boston thus far with a h/t to the Republican’s Amanda Bruno for digging this up:
