UNIONDALE, NY – It was back to reality from the Florida sunshine as a 40-degree February day greeted the Bruins when they stepped off the team charter on Monday morning for a brief practice at the Nassau Coliseum, home of the New York Islanders.
All Bruins players were accounted for at practice after they spent Sunday night along Ft. Lauderdale following their Sunday afternoon win over the Florida Panthers. So no discernible injuries for the Black and Gold from a pair of hotly contested games on the road in Florida is a positive development.
The team is looking forward to the challenge of taking nine of a possible 10 points on the five-game road trip with a win over the Isles, and mixed in drills with a scrimmage during their Monday practice.
The forward lines and defensemen pairings were the same as usual:
Lucic-Krejci-Horton
Marchand-Bergeron-Seguin
Pandolfo/Bourque-Kelly-Peverley
MacDermid/Paille-Campbell-Thornton
Chara-Boychuk
Seidenberg-Hamilton
Ference-McQuaid
Rask
Khudobin
